23 June, 2010, Dearborn Michigan- The REDS beat the Cardinals on a hot Wednesday evening at PennVassar Park. The final score was 6 to 8. "Baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and Chevrolet. How cool could it be!" said Coach Tony to the team after the game. "Our boys played as a team which is why we won the game", exclaimed Coach Wade in the clubhouse. Highlights of the game included a GRAND SLAM by Dominic Wade, an awesome play at second by both Brian Krefienberg and Ethan Cannon, a key double play by Christopher Saucedo to Brian Krefienberg and a brilliant catch by Peregrine Neubert at first in the 8th inning. The Reds played in front of a capacity crowd (total paid attendance 95). Next game is on Sunday, June 27th, against the Yankees at Ford Field #2 (on the banks of the Rouge River in swanky West Dearborn).
